Job summary

The Highfield Company is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead architectural and structural metalwork projects across London and the South East. You will manage installations from start to finish, coordinate site teams, subcontractors, client liaison and ensure safety, programme delivery and quality.

The role offers around £60,000 plus travel allowance, 25 days plus bank holidays, a company pension, phone and laptop, and long-term opportunities with an established specialist contractor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction.
• Experience with architectural metalwork, structural steel or similar is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of site management, H&S and project delivery.
• Confident managing teams and coordinating with clients and contractors.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Comfortable travelling to projects across London and the South East.

Responsibilities

• Managing architectural and structural metalwork installations from start to completion.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Liaising with clients, main contractors and project teams.
• Monitoring progress, resolving site issues and providing regular updates.
• Ensuring all site documentation, RAMS and H&S requirements are maintained.
