Fetch Recruit is partnering with a well-established architectural metalwork specialist to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a live East London project. You will lead on-site coordination, ensuring safe, timely delivery of balconies and bespoke metalwork to high-quality standards.

Ideal candidates have proven site management experience in this sector, with strong sequencing, drawings interpretation and subcontractor oversight.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing specialist construction packages on live sites.
• Experience with architectural metalwork, balconies, structural steel or similar.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing installation teams and subcontractors.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Confident dealing with principal contractors, clients and other trades.
• Proactive approach to resolving site issues.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Strong eye for detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day installation and delivery of architectural metalwork on site.
• Coordinate installation teams, subcontractors and specialist trades.
• Plan and monitor labour, materials, plant and site resources.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to the project management team.
• Review drawings and installation details, identifying any issues.
• Assist with design, fabrication and site installation coordination as required.
• Manage site documentation, RAMS, permits and inspections.
