Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a permanent Site Manager to oversee social housing refurbishment sites across Yeovil and surrounding areas. You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to high standards.

The role focuses on decarbonisation and retrofit projects including EWI, ASHP, and Solar PV, with RAMS, toolbox talks, and client liaison essential to successful delivery.

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification is essential.
• Valid First Aid certificate is required.
• Proven experience managing construction sites and subcontractors.
• Strong technical building knowledge and on-site leadership.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades on site.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and toolbox talks.
• Experience in social housing maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of multiple social housing sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
• Carry out site inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Produce and manage RAMS, toolbox talks, and Health & Safety documentation.
• Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams to ensure excellent project delivery.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of social housing refurbishment sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. The works focus on renewable energy and retrofit improvements within occupied, tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of multiple social housing sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme.
• Carry out site inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Produce and manage RAMS, toolbox talks, and Health & Safety documentation.
