Job summary

PiLON Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee kitchen and bathroom planned refurbishment programmes in occupied social housing. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to high quality while providing a positive resident experience.

Essential experience includes managing Kitchen & Bathroom Planned Works, social housing sector knowledge, and strong H&S compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing Kitchen & Bathroom Planned Works programmes.
  • Experience in Social Housing sector is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance.
  • Experience managing direct labour and subcontractors.
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and resident liaison skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring health & safety compliance.
  • Supervise direct labour and subcontractors to drive productivity and quality.
  • Deliver refurbishment projects to programme, budget and client expectations.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, inspections and audits.
  • Monitor workmanship, materials, housekeeping and waste management.
  • Maintain accurate site records using PiLLAR and PiLON 360 systems.
  • Liaise with residents, clients and stakeholders for a professional service.
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and vulnerable resident needs.
  • Support Contracts/Project Managers in planning and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory obligations.

Site Manager – Kitchen & Bathroom Planned Works

PiLON is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee planned kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes within occupied social housing properties. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while providing an excellent experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Supervise direct labour and subcontractors, driving productivity and quality across all works.
  • Deliver kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects in line with programme, budget, and client expectations.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, and audits.
  • Monitor workmanship, material quality, housekeeping, and waste management.
  • Maintain accurate site records and project updates using PiLLAR and PiLON 360 systems.
  • Liaise with residents, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring a professional and customer-focused service.
  • Identify and elevate safeguarding concerns, vulnerable resident needs, or fuel poverty issues where appropriate.
  • Support the Contracts and Project Managers in planning, reporting, and successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience managing Kitchen & Bathroom Planned Works programmes.
  • Social Housing sector experience (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance.
  • Experience managing direct labour and subcontractors.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and resident liaison skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Valid CSCS Card (Supervisor level or equivalent).
