Job summary

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting two Site Managers for projects across County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire. The role covers groundworks, roads and sewers, with responsibility from site setup to handover.

You will oversee RAMS, schedules, materials, and sub‑contractors, reporting to a Contracts Manager and Construction Director. A strong background in civil engineering and relevant safety qualifications is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as Site Agent or Site Manager.
• Experience managing projects from cradle to grave.
• Detailed experience with roads, sewers, S278 works, foundations, kerbing and drainage.
• SMSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person, First Aid required.

Responsibilities

Elvet Recruitment are currently on the lookout for 2x Site Managers on behalf of a family‑owned business, renowned for quality work on all of their projects.

The schemes would cover County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire working on Groundworks, Roads & Sewers and Plotworks.

Remuneration

A salary of up to £52,500 (dependant upon experience) + Package.
