Job description

We're looking for a skilled and dependable Site Manager to lead the safe and efficient delivery of a major energy infrastructure project in Southampton. This is an 11‑month contract, starting 24 November 2025. You'll take full ownership of site operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations, subcontractors, and logistics
• Drive compliance with HSE policies, RAMS, and CDM requirements
• Track progress against programme and provide clear project updates. Strong leadership and organisational skills: calm under pressure, proactive in problem‑solving
• Excellent communicator, able to manage multiple moving parts
• In‑depth understanding of HSE, temporary works, and QA procedures
• Experience managing civils, electrical, or energy‑sector projects
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and delivery
