A leading construction contractor in the UK is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a long-term residential groundworks project in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of management experience in construction, hold relevant certifications (CSCS, SMSTS, First aid), and be adept at ensuring health and safety compliance on site. This role offers negotiable rates and an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years management experience in construction.
• Experience managing residential groundworks projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
• Site supervision and ensuring compliance with health and safety.
• Keeping site diaries and managing production.
• Amending and working to RAMS.
• Quality assurance and managing materials on site.

My client is an industry leading contractor with multiple live contracts across the UK. We are currently recruiting a Site manager to join the company and assist in managing a long term residential groundworks project in Newcastle. RATES ARE NEGOTIABLE!!! THIS IS FOR AN IMMEDIATE START!!!

Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Reporting and working alongside the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
• Site Supervision and compliance with health and safety
• Keeping site diaries
• Ammending and working to RAMS
• Quality Assurance.
• Managing the labour and putting men to work.
• Providing progress reports
• Managing/ordering materials and overseeing site operations.

Site Manager Requirements:

• CSCS
• SMSTS
• First aid
• NVQ Level 6 (ideally)
• Highly experienced in residential groundworks
• 8+ years management experience
