Job description

We’re looking for a Site Manager who is comfortable working at sites nationwide to join our team on a permanent basis. We are a leading civil engineering SME seeking someone who can bring strong leadership and a proactive approach to project delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage all on-site Safety, Healh, Environment and Quality (SHEQ)disciplines.
  • Deliver safe, efficient sites aligned with the company's triple ISO accreditation.
  • Contribute to ECIactivities and support innovative project ideas.
  • Monitor project progress through programmes, weekly returns, and monthly reports.
  • Produce accurate cost forecasts and support the commercial management of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure productivity targets are met.
Preferred Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills with on-site teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in busy, process-driven environments.
  • Valid CSCS card advantageous but not essential.
  • Good contractual awareness.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
  • Good communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office suite).

Job Type: Permanent, full-time. Immediate start available.

Work Location: Nationwide, with offices based in Derby.

Salary: Dependent on experience.

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
