Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a single site from initial set-up to project completion.
• Manage the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring health & safety compliance and programme delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades, maintaining high craftsmanship standards throughout.
• Liaise with architects, clients and consultants, acting as the main point of contact on site.
• Monitor project milestones and budgets, reporting regularly to the Contracts Manager.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and site communications.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Site Manager within the high-end residential or heritage construction sector.
• Comfortable working with exacting clients and design-led projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach.
• Trade background (carpentry, bricklaying, or general building) preferred.
• Proficient in construction programming and site documentation.
• Living within easy reach of Bath, Wiltshire or the southern Cotswolds.
