Job summary

A reputable main contractor in South Manchester is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new-build apartment scheme valued at £7 million. This role involves managing a multi-unit residential project, which includes 64 apartments and associated works. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in site management, particularly for residential schemes valued between £3m-£10m. A competitive salary between £55k and £70k is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering residential schemes, ideally apartments/flats valued between £3m-£10m.
• Background in main contracting with North West experience.
• Good knowledge of groundworks, RC frame/traditional build, fit-out and M&E coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a new-build apartment scheme.
• Monitor and report on progress, quality, site logistics, and material delivery.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients' representatives.
• Lead weekly progress meetings and maintain communication with head office.

Our client are a reputable main contractor based in South Manchester, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the North West. With a strong pipeline of work and a growing reputation for quality, safety, and programme delivery, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to lead a new-build apartment scheme valued at £7 million., You will be responsible for the day-to-day site management of a multi-unit residential apartment scheme, from groundworks through to completion and handover. The project includes 64 apartments over 5 storeys, associated external works, car parking and landscaping., Monitor and report on progress, quality, site logistics and material delivery

• Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients' representatives
• Lead weekly progress meetings and maintain communication with head office
  Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering residential schemes, ideally apartments/flats valued between £3m-£10m
• Background in main contracting (ideally with North West experience)
• Good working knowledge of groundworks, RC frame/traditional build, fit-out and M&E coordination
• Confident managing subcontractor teams and programme delivery
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
