Site Manager

Contract: Professional Services, Production & Technology

Location: London, E20 1EJ

Hours of work: 40

Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking a capable and commercially focused Site Manager to act as the single point of contact for operational delivery on site, overseeing all FM services and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role will provide visible leadership across the service lines, manage site performance, and maintain strong working relationships with both the client and wider account stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, safe operations and delivery of technical and soft services in line with contractual obligations.

Job Description

The Site Manager will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, protecting and growing the account, and ensuring operational and financial performance remains on track. This includes P&L accountability, service optimisation, supporting innovation, and knowledge sharing with other London sites to embed best practice. Acting as a trusted partner to the client, the postholder will support growth opportunities, ensure alignment with the Account PM and Compliance Lead, and drive a culture aligned to ISS values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all site-based operational matters.
  • Lead the FM service line managers and site delivery teams.
  • Ensure full statutory and contractual compliance across the estate.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders and account leadership.
  • Manage the site P&L, revenue, cost control and forecasting.
  • Deliver against agreed KPIs, SLAs and performance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and service innovation.
  • Ensure systems (including CAFM) accurately support service delivery and reporting.
  • Oversee recruitment, development and performance management of site personnel.
  • Support technical initiatives to reduce risk, improve consistency and generate savings.
  • Support change control, governance processes and operational enhancements.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
  • Leadership experience within Hard FM / Technical Services.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.
  • Chartered/registered (where applicable) or able to evidence equivalent technical competence.
  • Proven track record managing FM service delivery at site or portfolio level.
  • Demonstrable experience managing a P&L and commercial performance.
  • Previous experience managing managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills & Behaviours
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management capability.
  • Confident acting as site lead / main point of contact for the customer.
  • Skilled in commercial and contractual oversight.
  • Analytical, organised and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Self-starter who can step into an established role with minimal onboarding.
