• Conduct daily diaries and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate material call offs and lifting operations.

Site Manager

North Yorkshire

Sector: Regional Build

£50k - £58k + Car Allowance/Vehicle + Package (Depending on Level and Experience)

Following a great meeting with this well established construction company who have secured a number of negotiated contracts, they have identified the need to strengthen their management team by appointing a site manager.

Projects would be in the commercial, industrial and refurbishment sectors up to £6m predominantly in the Yorkshire region – Although the first project would be in North Yorkshire.

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Site Setup
• Reading Drawings
• Daily Diaries, Tool Box Talks
• Overseeing subcontractors to ensure quality and programme are achieved
• Material call offs
• Crane/Lifting Ops
• Ensuring RAMS and Company H&S procedures are adhered to
• Liaison with architect, Clerks of Works & other stakeholders

Qualifications/Background

• Recognised construction related qualification (NVQ, HNC, HND etc)
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
• Ideally will have worked in the industrial & commercial sectors
