Role Overview
Site Manager position with a reputable traditional building contractor based in High Wycombe. The role welcomes autonomy to manage projects from start to finish, avoiding excessive red tape and tier‑1 protocols. Projects range from £200k to £5m and cover sectors such as healthcare, education, local authority, commercial, private residential, sports and leisure, embassy and religious buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full site operations and manage client and Principal Contractor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety legislation, corporate safety procedures and CDM requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication, management, operational planning and time‑management practices.
  • Manage M&E packages and detailed design within high‑faced, fully operational environments.

Essential Qualifications

  • CSCS card – relevant to the position.
  • A construction‑related degree, HNC/HND or NVQ Level 4 is highly desirable.
  • SMSTS or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Long‑term experience as a Site Manager on projects up to £2m value across varied sectors.

Preferred experience includes Healthcare sector site management, especially NHS fit‑outs of wards, with a strong focus on detailed design and M&E coordination.
