Site Manager

Contract: Permanent | Salary: £25,989 - £28,142 per annum (Grade 3) | Hours: Full time (36.66 hours) / Full year | Work Pattern: Monday & Friday, 7am‑11am, 2pm‑5:30pm

Location: St Paul's CE Primary School, Hindle Drive, Royton, OL2 5LU

Closing Date: Monday 3rd November at 12 noon

Interview Date: Friday 7th November

Our Site Manager will:
  • Have a polite, professional and pleasant demeanour at all times, with Staff, Pupils, Parents and visitors.
  • Be committed to the welfare and safety of staff, children, parents and visitors at all times.
  • Be able to offer a range of DIY & Maintenance skills to the school.
  • Have the ability and knowledge to liaise with external contractors and agencies linked to the school building.
  • Be responsible for and be able to lead a team of cleaners to ensure an excellent standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times across the school.
  • Be responsible for the constant upkeep of the grounds and building to ensure it is safe, tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Have the ability to work to tight timescales; a flexible approach is essential.
  • Be able to work independently using initiative and as part of a team and report to the School Business Manager & Headteacher.
  • Be able to communicate clearly with and relate positively and courteously to all members of staff, Pupils, Visitors and Parents.
  • Have knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire safety at work.
  • Have the ability to recognise the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment.
