Job summary

KOH & CO. is seeking a Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager to lead brickwork packages on UK projects. You will work with main contractors and site teams to deliver safely, efficiently and to a high standard across commercial and residential developments.

The role requires brickwork/masonry experience, ability to read drawings, and strong health & safety and QA knowledge. You will coordinate programmes, manage on-site activities, and mentor operatives on a growing, long-term career path.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within brickwork or masonry is essential.
• Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager experience in construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and work scopes.
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good IT and management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programmes and milestones with the main contractor team.

• Attend daily coordination and weekly progress meetings.
• Conduct site inspections and support health & safety audits.

SITE MANAGER / ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER - BRICKWORK & MASONRY

Location: North West / UK Projects

THE OPPORTUNITY

An established and growing specialist construction contractor is looking to appoint experienced Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers to join its expanding team.

The business delivers brickwork and masonry packages across commercial and residential developments, with project values ranging from £50k through to £15m.

THE ROLE

As Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager, you will support the successful delivery of brickwork packages on site, working closely with main contractors, site teams and other trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate programmes and key project milestones with the main contractor team
• Manage and monitor day-to-day site activities and progress
• Attend daily coordination meetings and weekly progress meetings
• Carry out site inspections and support health & safety audits
• Deliver toolbox talks to site operatives
• Order and schedule materials in line with programme requirements
• Monitor and manage site instructions and variations
• Ensure compliance with company health & safety procedures
• Maintain high-quality standards and complete relevant QA inspections
• Coordinate effectively with other trades and identify potential site issues
• Read and interpret construction drawings and scopes of work
• Promote and maintain safe working practices across site
