Job summary

Claremont High School in London is seeking an experienced Site Manager to run a busy site, lead the site and cleaning teams, and ensure daily maintenance, security and presentation of the facilities to support learning, events and community lettings.

You will set standards, delegate work, plan preventive maintenance and coordinate contractors, with the judgement to know when specialist support is needed. School experience is welcome, other premises roles are fine.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, practical Site Manager who takes pride in a well-run site and knows how to get the best from a team.

Based at Claremont High School in Kenton, North West London, you will lead our site and cleaning teams and oversee the daily maintenance, security and presentation of a busy secondary school. Your work will help keep classrooms, grounds and facilities ready for learning, school events and community lettings.

You will bring sound maintenance skills, good organisation and the confidence to set standards, delegate work and follow things through. You will be comfortable tackling minor repairs, planning preventative maintenance and coordinating contractors, with the judgement to recognise when specialist support is needed. Experience in a school would be welcome, and we also encourage applications from people with relevant facilities or premises management experience in other sectors.

Reporting to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer and working closely with our Health and Safety Lead, you will have scope to organise the service, develop your team and recommend practical improvements.
