Job summary

CJS Recruitment are seeking experienced and reliable Site Managers with roofing and carpentry contract experience. You will oversee day-to-day site operations and manage labour teams on active construction projects, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard while maintaining schedules and site organisation.

Key requirements include CSCS card, strong QA experience, good paperwork, roofing knowledge and carpentry experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction sites.
• Ability to read project plans and schedules.
• CSCS card and good health and safety knowledge.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• First aid at work certification.
• Asbestos awareness.
• Ability to handle manual tasks safely.
• Comfortable working at height and in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate teams of labourers on roofing contracts.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and site procedures.
• Allocate tasks and provide guidance to site workers.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers as required.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Report progress, issues, and incidents to management.

Candidates will oversee day-to-day site operations and manage labour teams on active construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while maintaining project schedules and site organisation.

We are looking for site managers who have the following : CSCS Card, High level QA experiance, good with paperwork, roofing knowledge and carpentry experiance.

There is potential for longterm work on these contracts, if you are experienced with roofing programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate teams of labourers on site on roofing contracts
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed on schedule
• Enforce health and safety regulations and site procedures
• Allocate tasks and provide guidance to site workers
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers as required
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standard
• Report progress, issues, and incidents to management
