We're looking for a Site Manager to join us based on our Mayfield School project in Dalkeith

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Manager, you'll be working on a large education new build project, delivering a modern, energy-efficient facility for the local community.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Lead daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain project timelines.
  • Monitor progress against the programme and report to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Manage site logistics and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
  • Champion Kier’s values and promote a positive site culture.
  • Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all site activities.
  • Check the quality of work delivered by subcontractors to ensure it meets project standards.
  • Undertake toolbox talks and site inductions for all personnel.
  • Find solutions to emerging challenges and proactively manage risks.
