Job summary

A leading construction firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a high-volume new build housing site in Coventry. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the traditional house building industry, holds relevant qualifications, and is committed to maintaining high safety standards. This role offers a day rate of £250 starting from November 7, 2025.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing high-volume new build housing projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion.
• Liaise with internal staff and external contractors for smooth operations.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing for all staff and visitors.
• Identify concerns with processes and develop solutions.
• Check all facilities for damage and report to management.

Skills

Experience within traditional house building industry

SMSTS

CSCS Card

First Aid at Work

Full UK Driving License

Education

Relevant qualification in Construction or CIOB membership

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion.
• Manage and liaise with both internal staff and external sub-contractors to ensure a smooth process.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing for all staff and visitors.
• Identify concerns with processes, methods, or data and contribute to the development of company-wide solutions, bearing the customer needs in mind.
• Proactively check all facilities during works for damage and report to management.

Required Skills:

• Experience within traditional house building industry.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid at Work.
• Relevant qualification in Construction or CIOB membership
• Full UK Driving License
