The Vacancy

WPS are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of planned SHDF works in the Daventry area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team committed to improving energy efficiency and living standards in social housing.

About the Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of planned decarbonisation works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with subcontractors, residents, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead site operations for SHDF retrofit and decarbonisation works.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and monitor performance against programme.
  • Review design drawings for buildability and raise RFIs as needed.
  • Liaise with residents and stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Support the Project Manager in programme development and reporting.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering SHDF or similar retrofit/decarbonisation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PAS 2035 and energy efficiency measures.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme targets.
