A leading construction company is seeking a Site Manager to oversee operations for new build and refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in site management, a strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts, and the ability to work independently. The competitive salary goes up to £55,000 based on experience, alongside additional benefits including a company car allowance and pension.
National. Up to £55,000 plus package and subsistence & food allowance. Regional office location: Stafford.
Experience in managing relatively small New Build’s & New Build Extensions is essential! Also being open to work on a national basis and lodge away as and when required is essential!
Our client is established within their marketplace and currently enjoy a turnover of £15 million and deliver both New Build & Refurbishment projects, ranging in value from £50,000 up to £2 million. They are a privately owned business and operate on a national basis.
Operational you will be number 1 on site and will report to a visiting Contracts Manager. Most projects are within the Leisure/Retail sector and may be delivered within a live environment.
The Candidate (Site Manager): As a Site Manager you should have well-rounded general main contracting experience gained through working on a variety of project types with the ability to work independently with confidence and decisiveness. Candidates should be self-motivated, proactive with a positive can-do attitude and experience within the role as a Site Manager.
