Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housing refurbishment and/or energy retrofit projects.
  • All relevant certifications (CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, CISRS).
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across Scotland.

The company, a respected leader in housing refurbishment, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale refurbishment. This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to manage live sites, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are consistently achieved while making a meaningful impact on communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of housing refurbishment projects
  • Manage multi‑trade teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery
  • Conduct regular site inspections and uphold rigorous health, safety, and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and stakeholder communications
  • Coordinate materials, logistics, and labour to meet programme milestones
  • Build positive relationships with tenants, ensuring minimal disruption during works
  • Deliver projects to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
What You Bring
  • Proven experience in housing refurbishment and/or energy retrofit projects
  • Valid CSCS card, SMSTS certification, First Aid qualification, Asbestos Awareness, and CISRS certification
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Ability to manage projects independently and decisively in fast‑paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with clients, residents, and site teams
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland
