Site Total Facilities Manager

Location: HMP Erlestoke, Devizes, SN10 5TU

Salary: £59,668.64 per annum

Contract: Permanent – 39 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Site Total Facilities Manager to join our team at HMP Erlestoke, a Category C adult male prison.

HMP Erlestoke runs like a self‑contained city/town. It takes hundreds of people to keep it functioning, and as the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed and driving the smooth and safe operation, like a heart that pumps blood through the body. Everything we do impacts every prisoner, employee, visitor and the wider families and community.

As a Site Manager you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who range from plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters to cleaners and administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are a Ministry of Justice business that provides critical and time‑bound services to HMPPS and are looking for a Site Manager with a combination of the following:

• Experience of facilities management
• Experience of managing budgets
• Experience of managing staff teams of 15+
• Experience of operating in a prison or military environment – desirable
• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in a facilities/building services trade, or have two years of recognised experience
• IOSH qualification – desirable
• Good health & safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
