Our client, an award‑winning house builder operating through Berkshire and Surrey, is currently seeking a dedicated Construction Site Manager for their prestigious Surrey Development. This on‑site contract role involves overseeing the construction of five luxury apartments, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Daily Management: Surrey Site Manager overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the new Development, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to schedules.
  • Planning and Coordination: Short‑term planning of materials and labour, and daily management of subcontractors.
  • Reporting and Meetings: Provide weekly and daily progress reports to head office and chair subcontractor progress meetings.
  • Liaison: Regularly communicate with commercial and technical departments, external bodies including Building Control, utilities companies, NHBC, and local authorities.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, including issuing permits to work, conducting site inductions, and reviewing subcontractor RAMS.
  • Quality Inspections: Conduct quality inspections throughout the build process to maintain high standards.
  • Customer/Sales Liaison: Engage with customers and sales teams to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Qualifications

  • A Temporary Works qualification is beneficial.
  • Proven experience in construction site management, particularly in luxury residential developments.
