Job summary

A leading construction agency seeks an experienced Site Manager in Weston to oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. The successful candidate will manage on-site activities, ensure safety regulations are followed, and coordinate resources effectively. Strong knowledge of construction methods and proven team management skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include SMSTS or SSSTS and a CSCS Card. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations on construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on‑site activities and personnel
• Ensure health & safety regulations are followed at all times
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries
• Monitor project progress against programme and report updates
• Ensure work is completed to specification and quality standards
• Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks
• Resolve site issues and manage snagging works
• Maintain accurate site records and reports

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and processes
• Good understanding of health & safety legislation
• Ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

Qualifications (Preferred)

• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card (Manager level)
• First Aid (preferred)
