Overview

Job Title: Site Manager

Job Type: Permanent Staff

Start Date: ASAP, subject to clearance

Salary Range: Depending on Experience

Benefits Package: 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and 3% pension contribution

Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria (Fully site based)

Hours of work: 40 hours

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within the agreed budget.
• Supervising contractors and subcontractors.
• Managing schedules, procuring materials, and adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with engineers and key stakeholders to discuss challenges within the business
• Lead daily briefings and resolve any conflicts on-site
• Modifying plans to accommodate unexpected conditions
• Maintain detailed progress reports

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Experience as a Site Manager
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Construction/civil background
• The ability to coordinate activities

UK National Security Vetting Status: Ability to gain SC clearance is a must
