Our Client, a well-established national housebuilder, is looking for a motivated Site Manager to take the lead on large development nestled in the Sussex Countryside.

About the Development

This multi phased development in Sussex combines traditional and timberframe build, offering a mix of private and affordable housing, designed to create a vibrant new community. the scheme features a range of thoughtfully planned house types set within an attractive countryside location. With build progress underway and a well established site team in place, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join a stable development and take the lead into the next phases.

Responsibilities for Site Manager
  • Take full ownership of the day-to-day site operations to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards
  • Coordinate and manage all on site activities, including subcontractors, labour and materials
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Monitor progress against the build programme and address any delays or issues proactively
  • Conduct regular site meetings and briefings with site teams and contractors
  • Manage and motive on site staff
Requirements for Site Manager
  • Previous experience working as a Site Manager within the residential sector, on multi volume housing sites
  • Drive for exceeding quality expectations and an award winning mindset
  • CSCS, 1st Aid and SMSTS
  • Detailed knowledge of building processes including NHBC and Building Regulations
  • Previous experience with Timber frame built sites would be desirable
