General Site Maintenance Labourer

Hours: Core hours of work are Mon to Fri – 40 hours plus one Saturday in four; we are open to flexible working options.

Salary: £12.58PH plus overtime.

The role involves a variety of maintenance jobs both inside the building and alongside ground work such as grass cutting and site maintenance, making it suitable for an all‑rounder. The position is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekends required for specific jobs that can only be completed outside normal hours. A clean current driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Painting, decorating and general DIY tasks.
• Seasonal groundwork such as grass cutting and weedkilling.
• Any site maintenance requirements and reasonable tasks will be included in this role.
• Ensure that the main buildings, the mechanical workshop, the fabrication workshop, the stores, the yard, the rest areas, and the toilets are maintained on a routine basis and carry out other ad‑hoc duties as required.
• Take reasonable care of your own health and safety while performing your duties.
• Prevent endangering other employees, visitors or members of the public.
• Use equipment and tools correctly and for that which they were designed.
• Co‑operate with the employer on all health and safety matters.
