Job description

So, what will I be doing?

Would you like to be a key member of our logistic team? Based at our Isleport site we are looking for a new Logistic maintenance Hygiene Operative.

As a Logistics Maintenance Hygiene Operative, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of our logistics areas. You’ll help ensure our facilities are spotless, well‑maintained, and meet the highest standards – assisting the movement of our award-winning products from our farms to families across the UK.

At Yeo Valley, everything we do is rooted in nature. From our organic farming practices to our commitment to biodiversity and renewable energy, we work hard to nurture the planet we call home. By joining us, you’ll become part of that mission—helping to keep our logistics environment running in a way that reflects our values.

We also believe in nurturing people. That means offering real opportunities to grow within the business. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to build a long‑term career, we’ll support you with training, development, and the chance to move into new roles as you grow with us.

This role is base working Monday‑Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled cleaning and hygiene tasks across our logistics and warehouse facilities
  • Perform minor maintenance and upkeep duties to support the smooth operation of logistics equipment
  • Follow site hygiene and safety protocols to maintain compliance with industry standards
  • Work collaboratively with the logistics and maintenance teams to ensure a clean and efficient working environment
  • Monitor and replenish hygiene materials and report any issues or maintenance needs

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

  • A positive, proactive attitude and pride in maintaining high standards
  • Previous experience in hygiene or facilities maintenance (ideally in a food production or logistics environment)
  • Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts if required
Why should I join the family?

We’re independent, British and proud to be making the highest quality yogurts, desserts and ice cream under the Yeo Valley brand and for many of the UK’s major retailers. Operating from four dairies and two logistics centres in Somerset and Devon, we employ over 1,700 staff and produce more than 25% of the UK’s packaged yogurt.

We’re sure you don’t need convincing, but there’s a whole host of benefits that we offer. It goes without saying that you'll have access to free parking, top‑of‑the‑range personal protection equipment (PPE) and your own locker. You’ll also receive the following:

  • Competitive holiday allowance
  • non‑contributory pension scheme
  • life cover
  • healthcare cash back plan
  • cycle to work scheme
  • subsidised Yeo Valley products and services
  • preferential rates with our partners
  • learning and development opportunities; we’re committed to ensuring all of our employees have the chance to grow

Our closing dates are a guide for when the application window should close, although we may close the advert sooner if we can. So, we recommend you get your application in straight away – and don’t miss the opportunity to join us!

Unfortunately, we’re not able to provide employment sponsorship to candidates at this moment in time.
