Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a dependable general labourer for a major, long-term infrastructure project at Catterick Garrison. You will support site teams, help keep routes clear, and assist with deliveries while complying with health and safety standards on a secure military site.

Essential requirements include a valid CSCS Card and willingness to undergo BPSS checks, plus prior labourer experience on commercial or secure sites.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is essential.
• Willingness to undergo BPSS security check (requires photo ID, right to work in the UK, 3-year history).
• Previous labourer experience on commercial, civil, or secure infrastructure sites.

Responsibilities

• Assisting trade sub-contractors and site teams with moving materials and equipment across site compounds.
• Maintaining site access routes, compounds, and work zones to keep them safe, tidy, and organised.
• Clearing construction debris, managing segregated waste, and loading skips.
• Assisting with unloading, checking, and distribution of incoming site deliveries.
• Adhering to base protocol, security procedures, and site health and safety standards.
• Carrying out general manual handling and physical labour duties as directed by site management.
