Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking a Site Installation Engineer for a predominantly field-based role. You will perform electrical installation, fault diagnosis and maintenance at customer sites, with work spanning 230V to 690V safely and efficiently.

The role offers training, exposure to solar, wind and battery storage technologies, and opportunities to work away from home as part of an on-call rota. A strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 18th Edition qualification and ECS Gold Card.
• City & Guilds 2330/2360 Levels 2 and 3, or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in an electrical discipline.
• Working knowledge of electrical legislation and fault finding.

We are recruiting a Site Installation Engineer on behalf of our client. This primarily field-based role offers varied electrical work, ongoing training and opportunities to work with renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind and battery storage.

You will carry out electrical installation, fault diagnosis, maintenance and equipment preparation at customer sites, working safely with systems operating between 230V and 690V.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Locating, diagnosing and rectifying faults on electrical equipment.

• Safeguarding company tools, equipment and other assets.
• Working in accordance with electrical legislation and safety procedures.
