Site Installation Engineer – Gloucester

Starting at £35,000 depending on experience

Our client based in Gloucester are looking for a Site Installation Engineer to join their team!

Site Installation Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the installation team to deliver high-quality product installations
• Liaise with customers on-site to ensure deliveries are correctly stored, work areas are prepared, and installations can commence smoothly
• Conduct site assessments to confirm safety compliance and adherence to industry and regulatory standards
• Coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of installation projects
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that arise during installations
• Perform quality checks to verify installations meet operational, functional, and safety standards
• Prepare and submit daily activity reports to your line manager
• Ensure the correct handling, storage, and disposal of equipment and materials on-site
• Provide training and guidance to team members on installation procedures and best practices as required
• Maintain strict compliance with all health and safety policies to minimize risk and promote a safe working environment

Site Installation Engineer Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Site Installation Engineer or in a similar technical installation role
• Strong understanding of installation processes, safety protocols, and fault-finding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues
• Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
• Valid driver’s licence (training and relevant machinery/equipment certifications can be provided)
• Experience working with various metals, including stainless steel and aluminium - (advantage)
• Proficient in using a range of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders) for installation tasks

Site Installation Engineer Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30
• Friday, 07:30 - 13:30
• Overnight allowances paid for staying away + private hotel room with breakfast
• Training provided
• Team days and nights out
• Paid door to door on site work when commuting
