Blakeney Point Search & Selection seeks a Site Hygiene Manager for West Yorkshire to lead world-class hygiene standards across all factory areas and shifts, including nights. Up to £65k. To lead and champion world-class hygiene standards across all factory areas and shifts, including night operations, ensuring a consistently clean, safe, and audit-ready manufacturing environment.
The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving hygiene systems that protect product integrity, support manufacturing efficiency, and ensure compliance with food safety, customer, and regulatory requirements. This includes oversight of all cleaning activities, from daily sanitation tasks and routine cleaning schedules to full equipment strip-downs, deep cleans, and periodic hygiene programs.
A key focus of the role is to optimise cleaning effectiveness through robust hygiene planning, the review of cleaning and disinfection performance, and the continuous assessment of equipment hygiene design. By working collaboratively across departments, the Hygiene Manager will drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring hygiene practices support operational performance and business objectives.
This role works in close partnership with key operational and functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Technical, Human Resources, and Site Leadership. The position serves as the central point of expertise for all hygiene-related matters, ensuring alignment between food safety standards, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
Act as the site's lead hygiene professional, providing expert guidance, support, and timely communication to a wide range of stakeholders, including:
Lead the planning, organisation, implementation, and continuous improvement of site hygiene programmes to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety are maintained throughout the facility.

Identify, evaluate, and deliver training requirements to ensure all hygiene personnel possess the skills, knowledge, and competencies required to perform their roles safely and effectively.
Develop and maintain robust management systems that support the monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of hygiene performance, including:
Ensure all hygiene documentation is accurate, current, and effectively managed, including:
Shift Monday - Friday Nights Monday - with flexibility to attend day shifts and look after days crew.
