Site Housekeeping Manager

Contract: Professional Services, Production & Technology

Location: London, E14 5GL

Hours of work: 40

Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping operations at KPMG, as part of ISS’s comprehensive service delivery to the Professional & Technology Services sector.

This pivotal role ensures the consistent, high-quality execution of all housekeeping functions, delivering excellence in service, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of staff management, service standards, and budgetary control, while driving adherence to both ISS and client requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as the primary client contact for all housekeeping matters, ensure transparent communication, swift issue resolution, and continuous improvement across operations.
  • Support other sites within the wider team when required and ensure full compliance with statutory, health, safety, and environmental obligations.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the housekeeping team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, promoting best practices and embedding a strong safety culture.
  • Oversee staff management including recruitment, absence management, and disciplinary processes in line with ISS procedures.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, including wages, consumables, and materials, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory obligations, client policies, GDPR, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Oversee T&A (Time and Attendance) systems and wage submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely approval.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, acting as the key point of contact for housekeeping services.
  • Drive continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs and SLAs, implementing process and product enhancements.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure service quality aligns with contractual expectations.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
  • Strong operational background with experience in soft services and waste management.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective client and team relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing people and service delivery within a facilities or housekeeping environment.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills; able to prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Confident communicator at all levels, fostering collaboration and engagement.
  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, meet KPIs, and deliver to strict deadlines.
