Civils Site Foreman

Job Location: Sligo

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Site Foreman for a busy Contractor for the civils works on residential projects in Sligo.

The client is keen to pay the right candidate a competitive salary.

Civils Site Foreman Role:

  • Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
  • Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
  • Attending weekly management team meeting
  • Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
  • Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site

Civils Site Foreman Requirements:

  • 5 years+ experience as a foreman on civil engineering projects including groundworks, roads, utilities and concrete
  • Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Background in carpentry would be beneficial
  • An understanding of site levels, and be able to set up and use a pipe laser
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
  • PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
