The Company you will be working for;

MTrec Commercial is proudly representing an industry-leading client in their search for an experienced Site Financial Controller. You will be working for a reputable business on a full-time, permanent basis. If you have the required skills and experience, please apply for an immediate response.

The Job you will be doing;

  • Preparation and validation of local financial statements and KPIs for actuals, forecasts, and budgets in accordance with Group standards and local rules, in cooperation with other departments.
  • Ensure consistency between operational KPIs/actions and financials.
  • Review statements prepared by Accounting.
  • Ensure timely publication of site/company economic data according to Group standards.
  • Participate in statutory audits.
  • Prepare and review cash performance and forecasts, including Cash MTP, in cooperation with other departments.
  • Manage and optimize cash with support from Business Unit / Corporate Treasury, including funding and subventions.
  • Implement measures to recover receivables.
  • Manage plant controlling in interface with Financial network and Operations.
  • Support internal controls at the plant.
  • Supervise local IT in interface with Corporate IT.
  • Partner with the Plant Manager to set and meet financial and operational targets, improve hourly rates, and enforce controls and processes.
  • Prepare and challenge medium and budget plans, forecasts, and financial studies.
  • Validate profitability of investments and products.
  • Advise Plant Director / Business Unit / Finance network as appropriate.
  • Conduct specific analyses as requested by the Plant Manager and Financial network.
  • Represent the company in tax, administrative duties, and dealings with banks, insurance companies, and courts.
  • Establish action plans and coordinate team missions based on business objectives.
  • Propose and control the annual operational activity budget.
  • Monitor activity performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct annual appraisal interviews, set team objectives, and develop employee skills with training proposals.

About You;

  • Previous Site Financial Controller experience is essential.
  • A background in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Possess relevant industry qualifications.
  • Ability to facilitate positive relationships and communication between departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and team management capabilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow safety procedures.
