Site Engineering Geologist

Covering sites between East-Midlands to York roughly

Permanent or Contract

Salary – £35,000 – £40,000 / year + overtime + car allowance + other benefits (or freelance day rate out of scope of IR35)

A Field Engineer is required to join a geological asset management company in the North-East. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for working on site between the East-Midlands and York. Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting earthworks
• Supervising site works
• Conducting geotechnical inspections
• Conducting ground investigations
• Slope stability

The successful candidate will have:

• A Geology-related degree
• A minimum of 2-3‑years' experience working on similar roles in the UK.
• Experience conducting ground investigations
• The ideal candidate will have an understanding of slope stability and earthworks (construction of earthworks or earthworks in landfill environment).
