Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Site Engineer for a major water infrastructure project near Southampton. You will be embedded in the live delivery team, taking ownership of setting out, accuracy and engineering control on site.

The role encompasses direct delivery setting out across civils, structural and groundwork packages, interfacing with drawings, updating CAD files, and raising TQs/RFIs to resolve design queries. Strict adherence to ITPs, as‑builts, and handover documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Direct delivery site experience in civil engineering
• Water sector project experience preferred (UK)
• CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification required

Responsibilities

• Direct delivery setting out across civils, structural and groundwork packages
• Review drawings, update CAD files, raise TQs and RFIs
• Ensure quality control, ITPs, as-builts and handover documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, maintain site records and progress photos
• Enforce Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and RAMS on site
