Ridgeway & Co Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for residential construction in Harlow, Essex. You will set out, survey and coordinate RC frame projects, ensuring drawings, specifications and programme are followed.

The role requires a Civil Engineering qualification and CSCS card, with proven experience on multi-storey residential developments. You will join an established main contractor and contribute to a strong project pipeline.

Formación

• Experience as Site Engineer in a main contractor or specialist sub-contractor environment.
• Experience with setting out, surveying and dimensional control on residential projects.
• Experience with reinforced concrete frames and structural construction.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out setting out, surveying and dimensional control across residential construction projects.
• Ensuring construction works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Supporting the delivery of reinforced concrete frames, structural works and associated building packages.
• Coordinating engineering activities with subcontractors, site management and the wider project team.
• Checking levels, dimensions and positioning to ensure accuracy throughout construction.
• Maintaining quality assurance records, site inspections and as-built documentation.
• Assisting with technical queries, resolving engineering issues and identifying potential discrepancies.
• Monitoring site progress and ensuring works are completed in line with the construction programme.
• Ensuring engineering activities comply with health, safety and quality requirements.
• Reviewing construction drawings and identifying potential design or technical issues before works commence.
• Providing technical support to site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are completed correctly and efficiently.
