Job summary

James Gray Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer for civil engineering projects in Dumfries and Edinburgh. This opportunity offers a competitive salary up to £45,000 based on experience and a strong benefits package.

The successful candidate will have a degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering and previous experience on similar projects. Responsibilities include setting out, quality assurance, and coordination of construction activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of setting out, drainage, and groundwork operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying in line with project drawings and specifications.
• Manage and maintain quality assurance documentation, including ITPs and as-built records.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and operatives to coordinate daily activities.
