Job summary

A leading construction recruitment firm is seeking a Site Engineer for a major steel construction project in Central Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out the construction site, including alignment of steel segments and use of laser levels. Qualifications include a CSCS card and a HND or degree in Civil Engineering. Ideal candidates may also have IPAF and safety critical medical certifications. This is an adhoc weekly contract that pays £300 per day.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is mandatory for this position.
• A Civil Engineering HND or Degree is required.
• Use of Theodolite and laser level points is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set out all aspects of construction projects in Central Birmingham.
• Align steel erections longitudinally and horizontally.
• Install segments at ground level and at 20m height.

Details:

• Steel erection alignment (Longitudinal and horizontal)
• Fit segments on the ground floor
• Fit segments at height level 20m
• Use of laser level points/ Theodolite

Required:

• CSCS Card
• Civil Engineering HND / Degree or equivalent
• IPAF preferred but not essential
• Safety Critical Medical preferred but not essential
