Job summary

A leading civil engineering firm is looking for a Site Engineer to oversee junior engineers and manage construction operations in the Aylesbury area. The role requires a relevant HNC/Degree in Engineering and practical experience in Site Engineering tasks. Key responsibilities include liaising with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman, solving technical challenges, monitoring subcontractors, and contributing to budget plans. Qualifications

• Must hold HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Practical application of Site Engineering activities required.
• Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures, or drainage is essential.
• Ownership of full driving licence is critical.
• Must hold relevant CSCS competencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide junior engineers on site.
• Assist in managing site construction operations.
• Work with the setting-out team to resolve technical problems.
• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman for resource allocation.
• Monitor subcontractors and assist in contributing to financial forecasting.
