Company: Southeast based Main Contractor

Overview

A well renowned Main Contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a high quality €multi‑million residential development in Co. Waterford. The project consists of a large‑scale housing scheme with associated groundworks and external works and is currently at an active stage of delivery. This contractor has an excellent reputation for delivering residential projects to a high standard and maintains a strong pipeline of work across the Southeast, offering long‑term and stable career progression. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to grow their career while staying close to home.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site using Total Station and GPS.
• Assisting with the coordination of subcontractors, site teams, and material deliveries.
• Monitoring progress on site and reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager.
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years’ experience working with an Irish Main Contractor or Developer.
• Strong setting out experience using Total Station and GPS.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
