Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Site Engineer for a 12 month contract on steel frame and groundworks projects. You will manage engineering tasks, including setting out of groundworks and steel frame packages, and report to the Project Manager and foreman.

The role requires a CSCS card and experience with setting out groundworks and drainage; a Civil Engineering degree or time served background is preferred. SMSTS/SSSTS is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Experience setting out ground works and drainage.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served; time served acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering, including setting out ground works/steel frame package.
• Report to the Project Manager and foreman.
• Site set up and health and safety compliance.
• Raise technical queries on design issues.

My client is a leading contractor in the Steel frame and Groundworks sector. We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete an 12 month contract. You will be required to manage the engineering, including the setting out of the ground works/steel frame package.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Completing all setting out associated to the ground works and steel Frame aspects.
• Raising technical queries on design issues.

Site Engineer Requirements:

• CSCS card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS – Desirable, not essential.
• Previous experience setting out ground works and drainage.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
