Job summary

Site Engineer role with a family-owned construction business based in Manchester. You will provide accurate setting out and engineering support across project delivery, ensuring high-quality work and compliance.

The role requires NVQ Level 4 or equivalent and site civils experience; you'll monitor progress, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and contribute to safety, planning and continuous improvement. Attractive salary £40-45k with £4k car allowance.

Qualifications

• A relevant construction or engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent).
• Site engineering experience within construction, civils, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical, setting-out, and problem-solving skills.
• Great attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Confidence communicating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to working safely and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of multiple civils trades and techniques.
• Experience working directly with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Understanding of modern civils methods and technologies.

Responsibilities
