We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a Section 278 works project in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile highways scheme, with a strong likelihood of further work following successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for highways, drainage, and associated 278 works.
• Producing and checking as-builts, QA records, and site documentation.
• Working closely with the site management team to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with drawings and design information.
• Maintaining accurate site records and assisting with progress reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on 278 or highways schemes.
• Proficient in use of GPS / Total Station equipment.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and specifications.
• SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
