Job summary

A leading UK Highways contractor based in Painswick is seeking a NIGHTS Site Engineer for a major highways project in Gloucester. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of night shift site engineering, working closely with the project team to ensure high-quality delivery. Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree and experience with highways standards. Immediate interviews are being arranged.

Qualifications

• A degree, Bachelor's, MSc, or HND in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures.
• Experience working for a major highways contractor.

Responsibilities

• Keeping daily records of site activities.

Position

NIGHTS Site Engineer required for Major Highways project in Gloucester.

Carrington West is working with a national UK Highways contractor searching for a number of Site based Engineers to focus on the delivery of major highways projects in the region.

Works will be carried out predominantly over night shifts, covering all aspects of highways site engineering.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with the project team to ensure the project is delivered to a high quality and on time.
• Offering guidance and direction to more junior members of the team.
• Setting out of roads, earthworks etc.
• Keeping daily records of site activities.

Qualifications

• A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures.
• Knowledge and experience of high-speed road projects and setting out engineering.
• Experience working for a major highway's contractor.
• CSCS qualification, SMSMTS, National Highways Passport and EUSR 1&2.
