Job summary

Invision Group, a leading contractor in the East of England, is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join a major Suffolk site. You will manage daily engineering activities, set out works, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure execution aligns with the programme and drawings.

The role requires CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications, with a focus on safety, QA, and collaboration with project teams. An immediate start is available on a challenging refurbishment project.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on similar projects.
• CSCS card held.
• SMSTS and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day engineering activities on site.
• Set out works and ensure delivery to specification.
• Coordinate subcontractors and achieve programme milestones.
• Support site management with technical queries.
• Review drawings and identify buildability issues.
• Maintain QA records and site documentation.
• Uphold health and safety standards at all times.

Site Engineer - Main Contractor

East of England

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading contractor delivering works on a Site in Suffolk.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site delivery, managing engineering activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements. Experience working on complex refurbishment, infrastructure, public sector, or secure environment projects would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing day-to-day engineering activities on site
• Setting out and ensuring works are delivered to specification
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme milestones are achieved
• Supporting site management with technical and engineering queries
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and identifying buildability issues
• Maintaining QA documentation and site records
• Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times
• Liaising with project managers, commercial teams, and stakeholders
• Assisting with progress reporting and site coordination
