Job summary

Site Engineer

Location: Nationwide

Salary: £300‑£400 per day outside IR35

Employment Type: Temp‑on‑going, ASAP start

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting site surveys and setting out for various construction projects.
  • Interpreting and implementing technical drawings and plans.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the specified standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Liaising with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Managing and coordinating site activities to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Monitoring and documenting progress, as well as preparing regular reports.
  • Identifying and resolving any technical issues or discrepancies on site.
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Setting Out Site Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software (e.g., Total Stations, GPS, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites.
