Job summary

Run Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Site Engineer for a portfolio of marine civil engineering projects based in Dover, Kent. The role requires hands-on site surveying, setting out, and overseeing quality control on works such as rebar anchors and concrete operations.

The project runs through until the end of January 2027, with duties including producing as-built drawings and handling occasional permits. This is a site-based position on coastal civil works with marine infrastructure

Qualifications

• Experience in civil/site engineering for marine projects.
• Ability to produce as-built drawings and use AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ITP checks and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Site setting out and surveying using Total Station and GPS.
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
• Quality control throughout construction; complete ITP checks.

Site Engineer

Civil Engineering

We’re working with a civil engineering business to recruit a Site Engineer for a portfolio of marine civil engineering projects. The business has an esteemed history in marine projects across the South Coast from Kent to Devon protecting the shorelines and enhancing our ports, sea defences and marine infrastructure.

The project work involves the installation of a rebar anchor to support a fender alomngside the quay wall, demolition and concrete works.

The project will run through until the end of January 2027.

Site Engineer duties:

• Setting out and surveying (Total Station & GPS)
• Produce as built drawings in AutoCAD
• Quality control throughout construction process and ITP check sheets
• Cat scanning and permits when required
• Problem solving design changes, material changes and take offs
